Frozen Avocado Milkshake

As of late I haven’t set aside some time to take photos of things I make. Three parties went by and no single good photo made its way here. Ah, it could just be the summer sun. The sweltering days I have to go through. Tsk tsk.

Although let me tell you that I never left the house. My younger cousins are all here visiting and they’ve already gone fishing, went on a picnic by the river, tried the zip line in a lake resort and more. They’ve invited me as well but bleh I’m sure I’d only get bored. I get really lazy and turned off about thigs like that.

However, I’m glad that they bring fruits back to me sometimes. Here’s what happened to the avocado.

2 large avocados
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup shaved ice

1. Cut avocado in half. Remove seed. Scrape off the flesh then slightly mash.
2. Put the following in the blender, in this order: ice, cream, milk, sugar then avocado.
3. Blend. Freeze. Thaw ever so slightly before serving.

I love to eat but I love cooking even more. I wasn't exposed to a wide variety of food growing up and I wasn't invited or asked to help in the kitchen either HOWEVER my desire to eat a satisfying meal urged me to learn how to prepare and cook.
